Something can always go wrong. I would just say if you don’t get the pre-order items, then I would rather complain fast and don’t wait before the action is finish.

So, release day is here, people got the expansion via keys... and no pre-order content.

I bought the pack a week early.  But on the day I was able to play I did not get the 3 items they said we would get for buy before September 8. I just want my stuff.

Same here. The EA team is investigating this.

I'd appreciate help with this, too. I heard that anyone who purchases the pack before September should have the pre-order bonus installed automatically but I'm also unable to download it.

I didn't receive the exclusive items that promised to come with The Sims 4 High School Life. When will they update the game and fulfill the offer?

I own a the sims community in brazil, and several people are without these items, including console, xbox and ps4 players

I have the latest updated patches, no mods, and No CC in my game. I purchased my HSY pack before the deadline and yet I STILL do not have the bonus content "Vibing Streamer Gear Digital Content." Received a response from EA saying the team is aware of the issue and that I should be patient and wait it out (basically). Is there any update on this for a Mac user?

Hello,

I got pack High School Years and put the code in. I got the game, played it for very long time, have a lot of packs and stuff. It's working, I can use the pack, but I didn't get my pre-order items. Since I put the code before September, I thought I would get the items.

I would really like to get them. They look really nice.

I play TS4 on both and can't access the bonus content on either. I've had no luck so far as well.

So I got yesterday the High school years DLC (code was gifted to me by friend, she bought it from retail store,  im not sure from where) but upon activating my code i did not recieve the bonus content i was supposed to and there was no extra code for it. So i am a bit bummed out and would like some help on resolving that. Maybe it was a store that was not participating in it or maybe there is a fault within smthn?

@YourMoonsickness I belive the item was a preorder bomus that is you bought the game before it was released. I'm not sure exactly how it worked but many people who pre-ordered did not get the bonus. I do not know the requirements to get the bonus but there some issues. EA is aware of the issue and some changes were made. As tjis is a public forum this issue can not be addressed here. You will have to contact an EA game consultant for more information.

The items are order bonuses if you buy the DLC before september 8th. At least it is written on steam and i also saw it on the page of the DLC

I was supposed to be getting a set of gaming stuffs for buying The Sims 4 High school years before sept 8 but I never received it. I've contacted EA and tver have sent me to about 7 different people each time they email me with tons if follow up questions. Everytime I reply there's another very positive sounding person but they NEVER actually try to help me. The last thing I heard was they wanted me to do a live chat by following a link, which I never even received. I'm sooo upset by this and can't take it anymore 🤬

I cannot get the bonuses in highschool years I bought it a while ago and I was hoping they would just show up but no. I have Sims 4 Highschool on Origins. Can someone help me?

I have activated the dlc in my account, but for some reason appears two in the dlc screen list

When i click on the download button from the attachment, nothing happens...

If I run the game, i have the dlc installed, with everything except the streaming items, the ones i should receive because i bought the game before the deadline. 

I report this to support team, so if someone from that team want to check, the ticket number is #120508999

I have the same issue but on pc, I cuurently own 2 different versions of the pack and I can only install the one without the bonus content

Exactly the same problem here, as many others I can see.

Bought from an authorized reseller. If EA said that there was any risk of not getting the bonus when going through a reseller I'd have done differently, but there was no warning.

Hoping they can fix this quickly.

I had a similar experience where I reached out to EAHelp via email without much success. As previous posts have mentioned, the advisors would be very positive sounding and then proceed to ask for the same information over and over without offering much assistance. After speaking to about 10 or more advisors and providing my proof of purchase the same amount of times. I almost lost it during my last email exchange when I was told my proof of purchase was not valid after the previous advisors accepted it. This prompted me to finally reached out to @EAHelp on Twitter via DM. I explained my situation and after having my account verified, I was finally granted access to the Vibing Streamer digital content about 30 minutes after my initial message. 

Here's the message I sent:

Hello, My name is [insert name] and I am trying to gain access to the missing vibing streamer's digital content that was advertised to players who purchased their game through Origin or an authorized reseller before September 8th. I purchased the DLC through http://amazon.com. EA_Cade recommended players reach out to EA Help in the 102nd response of this post [insert a link to EA_cade's post in this thread]. I have chatted with multiple advisors. I keep being asked to provide the same information over and over but I have not gotten much help. My current case number is [insert case number if you have an open case]. My origin ID is [insert origin ID] and the email address registered to my EA account is [insert email]. My game s updated to the latest patch and I have cleared the origin cache per the recommendation of one of the many advisors I have spoken to. I would greatly appreciate any help you could provide. Sincerely, [your name]

So basically nothing will be done is what I am assuming... 

So I just went for EA help chat (https://help.ea.com/uk/contact-us/new/?product=origin), and explained that I didn't receive the bonus content even though I bought the pack before September 8th, and I was granted access. It doesn't cost anything to try for those of you like me who did not get the bonus content.

I wished for that to help, maybe it does for someone but I'm still with the "you need to contact the seller for bonus content, its not our job" type of response.

I thought since it looks like the bonus content is installed via Origin it might work, but still didn't. At least this person was nice, and actually answered my question.

Its sad seeing that so many keyshop had the bonus content key for sale and then there is people paying for the game not getting it. I really hope EA does better next time
