I too am having the same problem. I've tried taking out all the CC, repairing and even re-installing but no luck. It crashed again.

Post a DxDiag as described above.

Oh dear and I don't understand all the information in regards to system requirements..... I'm wondering what I would need to update..... Would it be wiser to just get a new laptop...?

your graphics card seems to be a business graphics card and might be too weak for the game
Try updating your drivers to see if it gets any better.

Your graphics card is well below minimum requirements.
Since this is a laptop you can not upgrade it. So only solution would be to purchase a new PC (Desktop or Laptop).
Your laptop will perform well enough for other things but not for gaming.

Could you please tell me if this is the same with my laptop? Thank you in advance 🙂

No, yours should be fine. Do you also have issues ? You could update your graphics drivers and make sure the game uses the card and not the chip.
If you're using mods/cc, try removing that
So I am having the same problem... I'm guessing it has something to do with how I split my drive or something? I'm running a 2016 Macbook Pro bootcamped with Windows 10

You have a lot of bluescreen errors. You need to figure out the cause of these. Normally these are caused by faulty drivers or Hardware.
Google how to troubleshoot bluescreen errors.
The bluescreen errors are caused by me playing Sims 4, hence why I am here. I recently downloaded Cats and Dogs and that is when the BSOD's began.
Thanks for taking the time to help me... if there is any help possible, other than restoring to a strict Macbook.

Does the mac version not work well for you or why are you using bootcamping ?
- jpkarlsen8 years agoHero (Retired)
The sims 4 may trigger it but is not the cause. Please do as suggested.
I am using bootcamp for a lot of work functions as they do not support Mac OS...
jpkarlsen.... I have not had a single BSOD until installing the newest version of Sims 4. Every time I run it, it crashes in a BSOD. I have ensured Window's and my drivers are up to date, and even tried completely re-installing the Sims and "reparing" the game twice now. I still have the BSOD approximately 10-15 mins into a run of the game, and this is the ONLY function that causes the BSOD.

But maybe Sims would run without BSOD if you used the native Mac version ? You don't have to pay for it again.

The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs have higher demands. That may have triggered it.
Examining the bluescreen errors should help tell you what goes wrong.
The issue is most likely the Apple drivers for Windows. Have you run the Apple Software Update for Windows to see if you are up to date? Are you installing AMD drivers directly from AMD rather than using Apple's?
Can you please boot into macOS and install and play the game just to rule out any hardware problem?
Seems like this was the fix, I installed all of the Mac OS updates and the Apple Windows updates and the game seems to be running flawlessly! Thanks for the fix!!

I'm also having trouble with my game crashing. I've attached my DiDax. Would you mind taking a look?

@JessicaLeeduncan
Your PC only has 64 MB Dedicated Memory (graphics), instead of the minimum 128 MB. Toshiba Satellite sounds like a laptop, so there's big chance you cannot upgrade your graphics. What you could try is to update your graphics driver. Google update intel HD graphics driver, Intel should have drivers on their homepage.
No guarantee that it'll work though, I hope for the best!____________________________________________________________________

Hi, I just got the Cats & Dogs expansion pack and ever since then I keep getting crashes after around 15-30 minutes of playing the game.
I experience the same problem, I disabled and enabled mods/custom content but they still end up crashing.
Here's my DxDiag:
Please inform me what I need to do to fix the crashes. Thank you.

Hi @xdsadistic
Do you get an error or does the game just crash?
Try updating your graphics driver. You have both a graphics card and an integrated graphics chip, make sure to use the Nvidia card, and update that.
https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/graphics-cardintel-chip-dual-systems/
(your intel chip meets the minimum requirements but you should be able to play the game on higher settings with the nvidia card, and cause less problems)
You can also try removing the Mods folder all together just to make sure thay have nothing to do with it. Like copy it to the desktop for the time being 🙂
Good luck!

How do I update my Graphics driver?
- jpkarlsen8 years agoHero (Retired)Visit NVidia.com click Drivers | Geforce drivers.
You are a bit low on free space on your C: drive. Make sure you install new programs to your D: drive to not run out of space on C:.
There isn't that much free space on D: either Maybe look into freeing some space by deleting some things you no longer use or look into a new HD possibly a bigger HD to replace your C: drive 160GB isn't much.
