Reinstallation makes the game folder different

I recently had to format my PC and after that I tried reinstalling the game and the EA app, however it has been having problems with any CC, even those up to date, the main folder isn't anything like I remember and everything seems to be kept in another server, because the new game I started to test everything seems to still be working even after uninstalling and installing again everything, I'm guessing this has something to do with the most recent update
