After updating this evening, I get a message that the user directory data was created by a newer version of Sims 4 and so I should update the game.
However, I have the latest version of the game and it tells me to update via Origin which I believe doesn't even exist any more! Can anyone suggest anything please?
Two times i have received error code 34&21 notifications and both times i lost my entire game! On top of that there has been no options for updates for the February 3, 2026. I am almost certain I didn’t get the last update either. There is no new content for the base game and on top of that my photos are still black.

took out my saves and my try folder, did a repair of my game. game version stayed at 1.121.342.1030 my game did open back up without any errors. put back in my saves folder first opened game and all went well no Errors. and Then my try folders and No Errors seen to popup. so far so good game opened and was able to get into one of my old neighborhoods , didn't click on any of my old builds but game seems to be ok so far.
I did this with my favorite save not knowing the outcome, and now I am unable to play it.. :(
is there any hope that whatever fix EA does will restore my save?

I started the ea app and the sims 4 started to update then it said update failed and it froze. I had to sign out and sign back in to get it to unfreeze. I tried again, this time nothing happened it didn't update. it didn't say it needed a update, it would not update. I have no mods or cc, I tried repairing it, I tried to clear the cache, but that didn't work. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and that didn't work. I restarted my computer several times, that didn't work. I tried deleting the version file that didn't work either. I tried gong on and offline, no luck. My game is stuck on version 1.120, what else can I do?
