Romance bar not staying full

Is there anyone else having issues with keeping their sims romance bar full? My sims romance satisfaction level is very satisfied, and they have the steamy relationship dynamic. Yet, I can't keep their romance bar full. It will immediately drop to zero within seconds. I've tried repairing the game and I don't use mods.
