Sim is washing her hands in the hallway and refusing to stop

So, I decided to just try uninstalling and reinstalling the game today since I didn't have much time to mess around with my computer. Turns out that's all I needed to do! I loaded in, and my sim was able to wash her hands in the sink, stop actions, etc!!!
My main theory for what went wrong now is possible corruption during the update. Either way, it's solved now. Tysm!

rachline28 Please disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings > Gaming.

Please also let me know whether this issue happens in DirectX 11 mode. I see you've been running DX9 mode, which should be fine in general, but it's a useful test. And see whether Memory Boost (currently in beta) helps. You can test on a new save so you don't need to juggle backups for your existing ones.

If these steps don't help, let me know what kind of install this is: EA App, Steam, Epic, mixed, or something else. Please also let me know if you've installed the game on an external drive. I only see the one drive in your dxdiag, but perhaps you disconnected another one.
