Sims 4 is unable to Start
When I tried opening the sims 4, I got a popup that said the contents of your user data directory were created by a newer version of the game and cannot be loaded. What should I do?

Goldfishh16 Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete GameVersion.txt, then see whether you can play.
If this doesn't help, or it does but the problem happens again, please let me know what type of install this is: EA App, Steam, Epic, something else, or mixed. And let me know if you've tried to revert to an older version of the game for any reason; there appears to be a lot of that going around these days.
