This issue has been happening to me from since April, and EA has not helped. All their suggestions don't work. Many other people have been dealing with the same issue. Hopefully, at some point,t they'll figure out what the heck is wrong with their game and FIX IT!
Speaking of which, the last I've played Sims 4 was April until now, and I'm having the same problem as well..
