So I recently redeemed a key on the EA app for the expansion pack Life and Death (sims 4). It said that it was successful however the pack never installed, it just shows as in-game-content. It is not in my game though. I tried all the steps I could find online but nothing works. I do not even have a file of this pack in my sims 4 files. What do I do?
MinArii79 I don't see L&D itself, only the associated bonus content. The "Macabre Mementos Digital Content" is the content you'd have received if you bought the EP from EA or an authorized third-party seller (Steam, Amazon, etc.) in the first four to six weeks after purchase.
Unfortunately, some unauthorized third-party vendors sell codes for this bonus content separately from the pack itself, and they don't always make it clear what the product is. I would guess that's what happened to you. So your only recourse here is to go back to the vendor and request the actual expansion.
I am having the same issue but I did not buy from a third party vendor I bought it through EA. It is saying this for fairies, warm and cozy, rockin rancher, love struck, and macabre momentous. I bought all of these through the ea app. I have attempted contacting support but they have not replied and it’s very frustrating since I use these packs and very single time I play, hence why I paid for them in the first place. Tried repairing the files, did absolutely nothing at all, still gives me the repair option, I try to uninstall nothing happens, it just has me uninstall through steam (which I already did and redownloaded because i own three dlc through steam) I tried doing app recovery still has done nothing. Someone please help I am at my wits end
