Sims 4 Newest Update Mods - CC Not Working

@Ayanna1235  Does your game work properly with no mods at all?  Please test and let me know; even if you don't want to play without mods, it's useful to know whether this is in fact the issue.

Yeah my game works without any mods. I already removed actual mods thinking that was the issue but even with just cc it’s still not working… ☹️

@Ayanna1235  Please download a fresh copy of one cc item and see whether it works.  Do the same with one mod, something confirmed compatible with patch 1.77.  Let me know how it goes.

yeah i tried that too earlier and it didn’t work. same exact results. thanks so much for replying btw haha i’ve been struggling.

@Ayanna1235  Do you happen to have the Sims 4 user folder (where you place your mods and cc) on an external drive or USB stick?  Do you use OneDrive?

Please also post a screenshot of the error you get when you have a mod or cc item in your user folder.

No i don’t have it on anything like that i think. I’m not very good at computer stuff as you can tell lol. 

It just started working out of no where 😞 so um yeah this is so weird

@Ayanna1235  Well, you did try almost every troubleshooting step, so mods should have started working at some point.  As long as you don't have the same issue again, I wouldn't worry about it.
