Sims 4 Saving Issues When Traveling/After Traveling
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.71.86.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I'll list the packs I don't have. Journey to Batu Tiny Living Bowling Night Spooky Perfect Patio The Kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Travel to a lot, save and then exit out of game or travel home. It can happen after returning home and saving at home.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game doesn't save all of my progress. The saving process works normal but after traveling, rather I save at lot or at home lot (after traveling. Always after traveling), the game will not save that part of the game progress. It'll revert back to the last save (before sim traveled) or if I saved at home after traveling, the save reverts back to my sim at the travel lot. Sometimes the save will get renamed to "scratch" despite it being a previous name that I made which was "save 65" I know that in the file folder, Scratch folder are temporary saves. So why is the game acting like the Scratch is the Main save files??
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my save work. I have never had this issue before since 2016, the year I bought the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This happened after the recent Feb. update.
I've read about other save problems but none of them had this issue. No it isn't my mods causing this. This issue began right around the Kit problem and skin patch recently happened. I don't own any Kits but I heard about the major bug problem. I wonder if my saves are apart of this Kit patch thing? Also my household lives in Mt. Komorebi so I wonder if it's a Snowy Escape bug.
