Sims 4 Will not load from EA app

I have tried everything! I uninstalled and reinstalled both game and app. I have repaired twice. Did a scan. Restarted my Laptop. Installed all updates. I even tried pulling the folder onto my desktop. I have NO MODS! It is a fresh install of the game after not having it for 2 years.  I get the flashing black screen, like it's going to boot (right before the plumbob shows up), then flashes again and goes to a white screen with an hourglass. That's where it stays. I have a pretty good gaming laptop that I bought brand new last year for my interior designing university class. It is MORE than capable of running this game! I don't know what else to do.  I have attached a dxdiag and a screenshot.
