Sims 4 Won't Launch At All.
I have accumulated a decent amount of hours of playtime on the sims, 75% of which are from the machine I am still using now. After I installed it again randomly one day I started getting an error message reading something along the lines of 'The requested operation requires elevation'. So I went on my merry way trying to find solutions for that and came up dry...however today I tried again and managed to get that error to go away by unchecking the forced admin check box in the TS4.exe files properties. However in fixing that issue I have caused another. My game will now just out-right refuse to load. Dead Space seen on the side bar works just fine and a cleared EA Apps cache has done nothing either. I can make the elevation error return by undoing my previous fix but so far absolutely nothing fixes the sims not loading at all.
As mentioned this is a completely fresh install as of an hour ago. No CC or mods whatsoever, only what is supposed to be there. I have DLC packs but none of which have caused any issues prior. I have tried to repair my files in the EA app more times than I can count, I have tried going into my graphics settings and changing the GPU used and almost every single related, or unrelated, fix that has already been mentioned in these forums to this point so on and nothing is helping at all... I have included footage of what I see on an attempted launch and also the DxDiag file I completed.
Please somebody help!!
I managed to fix my issue and wanted to share for anybody who is facing this problem too!!
Last time I successfully launched The Sims 4 i had thousands of mods, script mods, CC and so on and then deleted the game and my mods at the same time when Uninstalling on that occasion. However EA apparently doesn't delete save files like other apps do...So my save files had been corrupted and remained on my Hard Drive trying to be launched so i could, in theory, 'continue' them...which was the exact cause of the issue. Deleting the entire contents of that whole sims 4 folder [Documents -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 4] then launching the game fixed it all!! So if you've scoured the internet and found that 100% of the 'Solutions you can find don't work, then I'd give this a go! Especially because it doesn't require a re-download; the folder will auto populate when the game launches with no wait time at all!
