Sims 4 Won't load

It runs on I think windows 10. And I tried to redownload the game completely and it worked once but took ages to load I'll probably play it again tomorrow so let's see if it sticks and if not I'll try that. Thank you 🙂

You helped me in another thread with this same problem.  I got the game to load, but no previous content.  We tried to move mods but it either doesn't load or the game goes back to not starting again.  How do I know what to move and when?  My daughter has a lot of MODS and would like to get her info back.  I would appreciate any help!

the same thing happens to me I even downloaded the dulxe version and it it still won't load 

@hopezariah  Please describe exactly what happens when you try to load the game.  Please also either run a dxdiag and attach it to a post (Windows):

I've been having a similar problem as well. I try to launch my game from Origin and it thinks for a minute and then goes back to Origin. I had downloaded Realms of Magic and since then i cannot load my game. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and I;'m at a loss, I've even repaired that game. I only have the downloaded version and not the hard copy of the game if that helps too 

@phoe_phoe86  Please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't put anything in it yet; just see whether you can start a new save and play for a bit.  Let me know either way.

If you still can't play even with a clean folder in place, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I ran the dxdiag and have the log saved, and also pulled the user data to my desktop. Unfortunately its not a folder, its just a file. I just tried to run the game and nothing. I don't know if it was something I did wrong, or something loaded wrong but I'm at a loss. 

@phoe_phoe86  I meant you should move the folder labeled "The Sims 4" that's located in Documents\Electronic Arts to your desktop, and see whether the game works.  That folder containst your user data, as opposed to the Sims 4 folder in Program Files (x86) that holds the game's program files.

If the game still won't load even after you've moved the Sims 4 folder to your desktop, please attach that dxdiag to a reply here.
