I just bought sims 4 packs with the Christmas special but they won't download and there in the back of the line after ones I already purchased and have also not downloaded. It jumps to 96% stays there and after about 30 seconds it says try again in a little while. I have a years worth of sims4 stuff waiting to be downloaded. Please help! I have cleared my cache restarted the app, restarted the computer, I even restarted the internet.

and repair the game (Sims 4 > Manage > Repair).
If this doesn't help, please uninstall your current versions of the 2015-2022 VC++ runtimes, if you have them, and install fresh copies. Hit Windows key-i, select Apps, scroll down to the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, click on any version from 2015 or later, and select Uninstall. Don't touch the older versions. You can download the newest runtimes directly from Microsoft:

You'll need both the x86 and x64 versions of the 2015-2022 runtimes, but you can skip the ARM version, which is for a different class of device. Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.
