snowy escape installed incorrectly

I've recently bought the Snowy Escape pack but right as it finished downloading, a message popped up about the files being downloaded incorrectly.

The EA app says the file is installed but within my game I have incomplete files leading to the inability to use specific items.

I can't seem to find an option about either reinstalling it or uninstalling it to try again.

Would there be a way to fix this?

@ToothlessLover17  Please clear the EA App's cache:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

and repair the game: open your game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.

If that doesn't help, you can try deleting the folder for Snowy Escape.  It will be labeled EP10 (SE was the tenth expansion released) and be inside the Sims 4 folder that holds the game's program files.  This is the default location for an EA App install:

    C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\EP10

While you're there, open the Delta folder inside "The Sims 4" and delete that EP10 folder too.  Delta holds patch data, not data from the pack itself.  Repair again to restore the folder in Delta, and download SE again.

  • The items are all there, it's just that they don't seem to be working correctly (example: when I click on a hair I'd like, it will turn my sim red and white or when I click on the world that comes with the pack, I'm not able to click anything within it)

  • Thank you!

It took a few tries of repairing the files but I've now got full access to Snowy Escape
