I have been stuck on the loading page when I either leave a build or try to play a different household that isn't the one that I created. I removed all my mods and cc and still had the problem. I also repaired the game through the EA app, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but I still have this issue. What do I do to fix this? It is making the game unplayable.
AmarisNichole150 Does the game work with ZERO mods or custom content in the new admin Windows account? Part of the point of testing in the new account is to add nothing at all to the game itself.
It’s weird because simmers put a bunch of cc and mods in their games and the game works fine but with barely any cc in the game in my new windows login I am still having the loading issues
I have switched to a new local admin windows account because switching to DirectX 11 did not work and I did end up getting stuck on a loading screen again

AmarisNichole150 To be clear, this error happened while your computer was offline? I just want to make absolutely sure.
Please try forcing the game to start in DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
If that doesn't help, please create a new admin Windows account on your computer and try playing there. You won't need to reinstall anything but your saves and other user data won't be available. That can be addressed later.
By the way, now is a good time to start clearing space from your drive, which is somewhat full. It's probably not causing the current issue, but it could be a problem by itself soon. The Downloads folder is a good place to look for extraneous files that can be deleted, for example .zips of files or apps you've already used. And be sure to empty the recycle bin afterwards.
yeah even after doing what was needed to see if it will fix the game I still got stuck on a loading screen. Really frustrating

AmarisNichole150 Please try playing in a clean boot:
The one service to leave enabled is the EABackgroundService, which the EA App needs in order to run. Disable the rest as described.
When you reboot your computer, go through the Task Manager's background processes list shutting down any service that doesn't absolutely need to be running, for example anything from MSI Afterburner to RGB software might still be enabled. If you accidentally kill a critical process and it doesn't restart on its own, just reboot your computer again.
Don't open anything other than Sims 4 and the EA App while testing, not even a browser window.
If this helps, you can selectively reenable services until you find the culprit, then either leave that disabled or (if it belongs to an app you want to keep using) let me know what it is so we can try to fix the underlying issue.
If the game freezes or crashes in a clean boot, please try again, except with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
If this doesn't help either, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 freeze. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
