New save file with no mods. I play on pc and the gallery says everything is corrupt and when I make a new sim, it gets stuck on the play button when you’re done making your sim. I repaired it, deleted the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled it and nothing works.
lemonzkitty Please check your antivirus for any recent actions involving Sims 4. Both of the symptoms you've described can be caused by an overly-protective antivirus. If you only use Windows Defender, check Controlled Folder Access too. And let me know if Smart App Control is enabled on your computer.

What happens:
When I try to create a new household in The Sims 4, I finish in Create-a-Sim and click Play, but the button greys out and gets stuck there. The household does not load into the game.
At the same time, my Gallery is also showing everything as corrupt.

This is happening even with a completely fresh Sims 4 folder, no mods, and a new save, so it does not seem related to old saves or downloaded content.
Question:
Is anyone else having this issue, or is there a known bug causing the Play button to freeze and the Gallery to mark everything as corrupt?
