The Sims 4 - Frequent crash on desktop

I am experiencing frequent crashes while playing The Sims 4. The game suddenly closes and returns me to the desktop without any error message.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

-Removed all mods and custom content

-Deleted cache files (localthumbcache, cachestr, etc.)

-Reset the Sims 4 folder by creating a new one

-Tested with a new save file

-Restarted my computer

Despite all of this, the issue continues to happen.

The crashes seem to occur randomly during gameplay.

Could you please let me know if this is a known issue or if there is any additional fix I can try?
