toddler glitch

so I do play with mods but I think this issue is unrelated, every time I try to deal with a toddlers need and I click the bed or shower when the little window that's supposed to say choose toddler pops up it is white glitches to the bottom of my screen and I cant click out I have to reset the whole game I'm not sure what to do.
