Totally helplessly Hopeless ( No spoilers do not know how to remove them..)

The game by default will always create a game folder in Documents on C drive. If you move this folder to another location there again, the game will create a new folder. There will be folders saves and Tray but empty.
If you still have these two old folders in a different place, then throw away their empty counterparts from the new game folder and paste the old ones there.
Then I'll write to you how to move the entire Documents folder to another drive, but for now, I want to give you this information because I see how nervous you are.

@kreatora Thank you but all my old game play was deleted...I have all empty folders...all my sims are lost now. but please do let me know how to move them safely. so I have that information. Also.. I can play if throw the origin app, but there is nothing to create a short cut for sims for on my desk top

I assume you have Win10 system
Shortcut :
Go to the Program Files(x86) folder where your game is installed \origin_games\thesims4\game\bin and it's called ts4_64.exe
Right-click this file and choose: create a shortcut.

Uninstall Origin by using Revo (free version you don't pay for it) - it will be clean all traces of Origin from your computer
