Um, What Will Happen If I Link My Steam Account With the EA app?

I'm curious because Origin and Steam were acting up for me (origin went blank and steam kept deleting my saves) and as a result to that, I decided to uninstall them, but I didn't realize that my dlcs...

If you unlink Steam from your EA account you will only be able to use content that you have through the EA App. PS: Origin was discontinued long ago.

    So once linked up, then I have all access to my packs, but once they're unlinked I don't?

    Do you know anything about steam's cloud file when it touches your saves? Will that be a problem for me if I'm playing through ea? I already have my most recent ones saved, I'm just curious if it's able to leak through.
