Unable to load certain households

I am playing a legacy save and I don't use mods or cc but I have a fair amount of DLC. I moved a sim out of the household in Willow Creek and set them up in a new household in Moonwood Mill with their girlfriend, they are both werewolves. I can load into other households but when I try to play that household in order to manage them and set up that branch of the family, the game gets stuck on the loading screen for at least 10 minutes, so I have to restart my computer. I can load into my main household and I should check some others, but this household won't load at all.

    Teagirl_A  Sorry for the late reply.  Are you still seeing this issue?  If so, does it help to play another household for a while and then switch back to this one?

    Please also try moving the household to a different lot, preferably a blank or EA-made lot rather than something you've built or downloaded.  You don't need to save your progress; the point is to test whether the problem is the lot or the sims.

    I was able to play every other house. I moved the family and they are playable at their new house.

    Teagirl_A  That's good, then the problem is the house itself, not the sims.  If you want to try to recover the house, try deleting one room at a time.  If and when you find the problem room, you can narrow it down from there.  Don't save your progress; just keep quitting and reloading until you figure out which item(s) you need to delete.

    Or you could continue with the sims living elsewhere.  It's your choice.
