When starting a game, I select to continue game. It then takes me to the world selection screen. Once I choose a world and select a household it kicks me back out to the world selection screen. I turned off my laptop, restarted the EA app, and repaired my game and it still will not let me into a household.
orangekiwiV That sounds like a mod-related issue. Did you remove your entire Mods folder, and test without adding back any mods or custom content? If not, are you sure you're in the full version of CAS? For existing sims, you'd need to use the cas.fulleditmode cheat before using a mirror to take them into CAS, but that of course doesn't apply to new sims.
Please let me know if there are any other issues with the game when you have no mods or cc present.
I was able to get it to work, but still very glitchy. It's not letting me edit eyes in CAS.

If you find that only your old saves are broken, and new ones are fine, it would also be helpful to have a look at your saves. If you're willing, upload them to a third-party filesharing site and either post the link here or send it to me via PM.
I've has this same problem, I've even tried repairing my game multiple times and still nothing. the worse thing is ive been doing the decades challenge and gotten through 2 centuries and ive lost all my save files its completly gone.
Every time I try and Play my Houshold in the sims it just takes me back to the world selection screen I have tried updating all my mods and nothing has worked it gives me the message that it is something wrong with my Ww mod but I have updated it and have even tried removing it all together and it still does not work the only way I have gotten it to actually load was to turn off script mods all together but I would actually like to play with the few Script mods I have so if anyone has a solution to fix this that isn't me just never being able to use script mods again that would be appreciated
since the last update on Sims4 I haven't been able to play my game. I can't get to the EA main menu to push play, but as soon I push play, it goes back to the menu it. i tried everything, i uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted all my mods. i just want to play my game please help me
