manjimaruFIN If you want to be on the safe side, it wouldn't hurt to run chkdsk:
- Click Windows key-X
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
- Inside the window that appears, copy and paste "chkdsk /f /r c:" without quotes, and enter
- You'll be asked to allow a restart; say yes
- When the scan is done, use this guide to find the results
- Repeat for any other drive you want, for example use "chkdsk /f /r d:" without quotes for D
You can attach the report to a reply here if you want me to look it over, but a pass at least is somewhat straightforward to read. You're hoping for zero bad sectors above all else.
