Video Card Error [0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:0000012d:912c9c10]

Every time when I start the game it immediately pops up this error code. I have a intel Iris Xe Graphic card (i7) for a Windows 11 Laptop. I have made sure that my graphics card is updated and even tested it on other games so I'm not sure if this problem deals with my card and more with the game files themselves. I have looked at the other forums on this particular error, but I'm not sure if they'd worked with outdated they are. I have tried uninstalling The Sims 4, EA App, and Steam. (I do have mods).

    MrDiddly1​  Please test without your Mods folder just to make sure that's not the issue.  This particular error is often misleading in that it ends up having nothing to do with the GPU itself.

    If that doesn't help, and you use a third-party antivirus, that could also be the trigger.  Please set exceptions in the antivirus for TS4_x64, TS4_DX9_x64, and TS4_Launcher_x64, or the entire Bin folder they're in.  Set one for EADesktop.exe while you're there.  The same applies for Windows Defender's Controlled Folder Access, if you have it enabled.
