Hi I’m looking at buying a laptop solely to play the sims 4 and was wondering what laptop with run it on a budget of £300 I’ve seen one for £329 which is the highest I can go I’m really not fussed on how fast the game runs just as long as I can play it any advice would be kindly appreciated as I’m hopeless with this kind of stuff as used to play it on a desktop
zebrastacker2004 In terms of performance, the graphics chips are about the same, with each one winning on some benchmarks. The variance seems to be less than 10% in either direction, so it's close. I can't tell you which one runs Sims 4 better because I don't have hard data on that, but you should be okay either way. So you can choose based on whatever matters to you.
If you don't want to spend the extra money, then don't. If you want or need extra storage, the £300 option is clearly the best.

As for what I would suggest, these two are the best I'm seeing for under £330; they're £270 and £300, respectively. They have the same graphics chip, so performance in Sims 4 should be roughly the same: you should be able to run the game on medium graphics settings with all packs installed. The second one is a bit newer, has twice the storage, and has a much nicer screen, so I would suggest that rather than the first if the slightly higher price isn't a problem.
