Solved

Wont open

For some reason, my Sims four won't even make it past the loading screen after the latest update. I decided to play, but the logo appeared, followed by the loading screen, and then it crashed. I can't even check to see if my mods were disabled or not because it can't load. I moved every single mod out of my Sims four folder, and I botched the game back up, and same thing, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, hell even the app, and still nothing. Did anyone else go through this problem, and if they did, HELPS ME PLEASE!!!

ok so i followed a tip from someone else "

Please remove your saves folder from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and try to load the game.  If it works, create a new save; no need to spend much time on it.  Save your progress, quit, and move your old saves from the old folder to the new one.  Make sure to renumber the newest save, that you just created, if it conflicts with one of your older saves.

Try again to load the game, and if you can get to the Main Menu, use Load Game to select an older save and play it.  If the save is fine, you can continue playing it and save your progress; it may work again going forward." One thing for me is that after I put my new and old saves together, my old saves didn't appear, so I deleted my new saves and it worked.

toxadite  The above applies to you as well if your game works after removing the saves folder.  If that does NOT help, please create your own thread describing your issue.  Since the original poster's problem has a corresponding bug report, I'll lock this here.
