hi so since the update i had almost every day problems even eithout mods or cc. i ve been having this problem for a few days when it wont even start or if it starts its stuck on “the sims 4” loading screen or i barely manage to go into build mode and it crashes. today i cant even start it. i ve tried repairing it gets stuck at scanning files, i ve moved mods and cc, i ve moved the electronic arts folder and still wont open
08vw9cw2wkyy sunchamber As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs, that is if you can get that far.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
I have the same problem and I never added any mods. I've updated and repaired. Doesn't work at all. The screen turns white and then black and I have to restart the computer to be able to do anything at all. Just recently updated my computer too so everything are supposed to be all fine, but The Sims 4 wont work...
