World's crashing after Aug 19th update

Hi EA Team,

After the recent Aug 19th update, I am not able to play my Sims 4 game. Once I enter the world and pick my household, it goes back to the worlds again. I even tried picking one of my household and click play, the game loads and it goes back to the worlds again. I know many people are experiencing the same issue, but if anyone has already solved this issue, please let me know what you did to overcome this. 

Things I have tried to fix but the issue is still there:

1. Read on TikTok to uncheck the "Scripts Mod Allowed" box in the Sims game option, nothing worked. 

2. Also on Tiktok: delete a document file in your sims 4 section: localthumbcache.package; nothing worked. After loading the game, a pop up said that my WhickedWhims "Script Missing Error".

3. I did what LilSimsie's recent video: deleted "userSetting" and then repair, nothing happened.

4. The mods are all up to date. 

Since I can't upload a video, I am attaching screenshots regarding "world's issue".  As I mentioned above regarding the issue, the numbers indicate what happens when I click on a household -- goes back to words -- click separately on a sim to play -- goes back to world's.
