Villa disappeared after being built 🏡

Question

I recently completed the 'Love and Treasure' quest on Sims Freeplay and paid to have the villa house built on the island at the end. After the building was completed I went to view the newly built villa however, there was nothing there, just the island itself - Even though I paid for the villa.

I recently updated the app in hopes that a patch would be a part of the update and the villa would re-appear however that didn't happen.

Does anyone know how I can have my island home restored on the app or have have the paid simoleons added back to my account?

Your screenshot shows how the empty lot looks like, and this is what players usually get, if they missed the 8 days time limit. As far as I remember, building that empty lot costs simoleons.
Completing the Discovery Quest Love & Treasure within 8 days should give the empty lot as well as the lot with the villa on it, and building either one the first time should be free.
