Sims I retired is bugging downtown

i retired 2 of my sims however i still see them in town or in my home roaming. i cant marry them bec they are already old. they are bugging downtown bec my ild sims are in downtown and wont leave until i retire the 2 old sims. cant retire or remove as i alreayd retired them help pls
