No.
I considered making another town for awhile, but figured that feeders are basically really good neighbors, and I have many of those. I also have plenty to do with just my first town. But those who want to take the time? I have no issue with that.Smurfercom wrote:

There is nothing in the TOS prohibiting it; if that is what you mean.
For a long time now the devs have been making it so that having multiple "feeder" towns is no real help anyway.
Many people have multiple towns for other reasons than trying to feed a main town with something. For example, I have two towns. My B-town is totally freemium and was started as an experiment to see how things were going for newbies at the time.- No it's not cheating. I did it for a while and ended up dropping my extra town - way too much work on events like this this. The game became a part-time job and not fun at all.
Maybe my opinion is biased since I did do it but the truth is you don't get a lot of extras for visiting and dropping off things in your second town so your neighbors aren't missing much by not receiving your mutant seeds.
It was great when the corn and boardwalk section glitch was going on. - No, I don't think it's cheating.
I only have one, it takes enough time. I can see that it might be fun to start over again and try things a different way. - Take it from someone who knows -- it's a lot harder having a feeder town than it is to add a friend from the "add me" threads. Logging in and out of feeders just to get a few mutant seeds (in the event they even HAVE any mutant seeds) is tremendously time-consuming.
But they help someone who doesn't feel they can be a consistently good neighbor to real people playing the game. For instance, someone who doesn't have time to visit regularly to help their neighbors, but likes to play within their time limitations ...
After all, I don't see posts in the add-me threads that say "Looking for a neighbor who only plays now and then, and who will probably only have time to visit me once in a while." ;) - Not really. I don't even drop mutant seeds in my own towns, because it's more beneficial to drop them on friends who will drop them back on me.
- I don't class feeder towns as cheating at all, i have 3 towns, my main town and two for my kids which I basically look after lol
Feeder towns are like really good neighbours helping you out during these kind of events really  - I don't see it as cheating.
I don't do it, as the time commitment seems out of this world, but don't find it cheating for those who do. Like neuroheart, I have some really great neighbors which forgoes the need for them in many scenarios IMO. - it's a cheat....a cheat of your time. I think I have as many as Annette. 5. It's brutal. I wish I just would have added 4 more good neighbors.
- I don't think it is cheating. However, I don't have the time to start another town. Between work, spending time with my family, and the one SF I do have, that's more then enough.
