This is a great idea. Good use of the ants sign as well. :mrgreen:

Although the idea has merit, this could lead to misunderstandings. If the sign is out as a just deco, people may stop visiting... And if the neighbours don't visit the forum/don't visit the forum on a regular basis they won't know what this means or that this is how they should indicate they are away. (I do realize John is probably joking somewhat with this idea...).

A new subforum is not likely to happen, and if it happens it isn't likely to work properly. (Finding friends doesn't work for everyone.)
Message written in town isn't practical for most people.
Threads that weren't actually to make an announcement regarding the game/visiting were all locked, and will continue to be if they're in game discussion. But if you actually have something to say about your game, posting here is still the best way to communicate with dozens of people at once.


I've covered all of this multiple times. Don't know why I'm bothering to cover it again because clearly no one reads what I post.

I still have my bookmarked in case I ever need to communicate with my neighbors.

Besides, communicating with your neighbors his game discussion.

Best I can come up with is you recently dressed as Batman, waited on a bench, had an ice cream cone. And set fire to your City Hall. Followed, apparently, by something to do with the justice system. You probably could have left us to assume that part on our own.

Does this mean you won't be clearing your town for a few years?

I liked the idea of placing the hail ants sign on the Simpson Lawn, then realized many of my neighbors towns are so chaotic or large it would be a chore to search for it. Placing it in the landing zone (temporarily it wouldn't ruin the decor) might work.

I'm not sure how successful it was using the sign during last summer's Clash of Clones event.

I never see hail ants signs, that was are old go to for notification . I'm just going along with Neuros suggestion and guidelines, we can't discuss this forever. I thought it worked fine for CoC.
