I have had a ton of people I know stop playing over the last few updates that have started playing when I did ( right when they released the game)

All I know is that the family guy game is starting to look better and better by the day.

Hopefully EA gets their head out of their butts and start caring about what customers say and think

That didnt sound like a rant at all. But the fundamental flaw with your statement is that it is founded on that statement that EA is giving out items for free

I've placed a screencap of their event "Guide" below. Apologies for the huge size..

As you can see, Their own instructions tell us to "place baskets in our towns ...yadda yadda". There are only two ways to obtain baskets. The number of free ones is kept to an obscenely low level. The other method isnt what you are referring to -- the 10- donut basket. It was only the first of many insults of this event when they did not give any indication that a 10 donut basket would only collect 400 donuts. At any rate, 10 donuts aren't free. So I know you weren't talking about that.

EA is doing nothing to fix the baskets that don't work. Some of those were " given" by EA "for free". Gosh. Thanks, EA. (and we won't even bother to discuss the broken ones that cost donuts)

Their other instruction states that we will use the eggs "To win exclusive prizes". Their instruction does not say to use the eggs "to have a chance to win exclusive prizes" ... Several people have saved up 500 blue eggs to buy a gold box and "won" 250 blue eggs. The only "exclusive prize" they "won" was a big f-you from EA.

Many forum members are quick to (fairly) point out flaws in many events. THIS event does not HAVE flaws. It IS a flaw.

I said it was my opinion and I could be wrong. I welcome your opinion, too. I got really frustrated at Christmas because I wanted the yeti so bad and I was so happy when I got him on the last day of the event. He's in my inventory now because I got tired of looking at him. It just isn't worth it to me to get all worked up over a game.

If you can't relax and enjoy it, then what's the point? That's all I have to say about that.

EA went MONTHS without an update and then a rival company created a similar game and everyone loyal waited to see what EA would dish out and then this event came and took a dump on all of the loyal players so in return A LOT of them jumped ship to the rival game. While that game is not perfect it's also VERY new and they unlike EA are listening and responding to their customers so they can improve it. In the end it's a game and games are meant to be fun. If you have to work hard and not get the items you want it's not fun any more and therefore the game becomes pointless to play. EA seems to have forgotten that in order to keep the money rolling in they have to keep their loyal customers happy. I am a free player but that is because of all the issues I've dealt with from day 1 but I still got several people to join this game who ARE premium players and as I've said 5 have quit cause this event angered them so much

I bought, with my own donuts, two baskets that I put in my town. Now, they're untappable. What a surefire way to get me to stop buying basket! I feel bad for my neighbors, but I've been dumping eggs in as many baskets as j can, just to help them out. But thanks to my untappable baskets, I won't be buying anymore. That's for SURE!!!
