- I hate this gambling for prices...
Spent 1650 donuts... Not only for eggs. I have bought all premium items from the event. And bought the Mayflower and Miss Springfield.
I hope that I will get Shary Bobbins soon. Then I should help my neighbours to reach their prices. :) Excruciator69 wrote:

Spending donuts on trying to get the last 2 characters from the gold box has been a complete waste.
With 16 days to go you have absolutely nobody to blame but yourself.
Why do we pay any attention to complaints about inability to get all the prizes halfway through the event with 16 more days to go?
Infantile Lack Of Patience <> Poor Game Design Choice
Here's the thing though it's not the inability to get all the prizes people are complaining about now it's the inability to control the ability get good prizes. Half way through the event you would expect daily player's who are daily visitors to have somewhere between 1/3 of the good prizes and upwards but instead they are lucky have 1 or 2 (in my two towns of daily playing I have 1 decent prize of the bunny). The rarity of eggs and ability to swap them also decrease after the quests. I'm a premium event player but I won't spend donuts on a chance at a prize.Excruciator69 wrote:

And would people stop saying 'EA, you're losing customers'
It's clear that the people who are posting on this forum are still playing the game. And I highly doubt that this forum's total userbase is all of EA's customers, anyway.
And when you say, 'I should have this and this and this by now' it screams entitlement. Even if you are a Premium player. You've not lost out when you spend money on the game because, as has been said before, you're paying for the event's currency, NOT the prizes.
It's a shame we can't see an alternate take on the event with everyone getting 90% of the prizes and lots and lots of, 'God this event is so boring', threads popping up.LanceUppercut808 wrote:

That's a great way to word it.
Seriously...someone that collects from their town multiple times a day and visits 100 neighbors everyday should have more than 1 good prize by now. I really don't think that's too much to ask.
My daughter plays her game everyday (with my help too) playing the update from day one and visits neighbours everyday and is still yet to win a single building or character(s)! Hopefully she will win something soon, her game is complete freemium!kingmob31838 wrote:

Peoples main complaints are about the WAY they have to win things, this whole random game of chance business. If you don't agree that the old system of 'you get what you work for' was better than the current 'work as hard as you can and you will probably still win crap' system then you're either crazy or you weren't playing back then, and therefore can't comment.
I've recently got some great prizes, it doesn't change the fact I think this system sucks.- I am AMAZED at how many people * and moan about a FREE GAME! You don't have to pay ANYTHING to play it. * people, if you're getting this irate about a glorified app, maybe the problem is bigger than a game.
- Juliet, I completely can comment. In fact, when I first visited this forum, loads of people were complaining about the mythical Whacking Day, even though we were nowhere near the date. Funny how things change, isn't it. Maybe next year people will be pining after the mythical EASTER WHINING BOX event.
Systems will change, events will change and I highly doubt EA would put out something that didn't appeal to the majority of their customer base. If you don't like it, and want to go back to some senseless grind then you should probably consider another game. Or wait to see what happens with the next event as I imagine EA will try something new to keep things fresh. kingmob31838 wrote:

It will be interesting to see what the next update brings that for surekingmob31838 wrote:

Firstly I've seen so many people who hated Whacking Day (I personally enjoyed it) now saying that they would take it over this stupid system in a heartbeat. So yeah people do complain no matter what, but this event has by far got the most complaints I've ever seen!
Secondly, "senseless grinding"? You did the same amount of grinding as you have to for this one, only you were working your way towards guaranteed prizes, not just a chance on a wheel, or wheels disguised as boxes. That wasn't senseless grinding, this is.- Can those people that do, please stop referring to the prizes as "prices"..? It confuses me when I'm reading. Okay, thanks, carry on.
