- They should change the name of the game to "The Simpsons: Bugged out!"

My issues started over a week (maybe 2) before the latest update!
And a few weeks after the Halloween update.. So not actually around a new update..
I can't use my android device either! If you read all the posts here, the same problem occurs there.
I'm suspecting the problem is in the server my game is on. I do have a huge town and lots of decorations, but I have not decorated lately, I've actually deleted a couple of things.. The crashing/freezing problem seems to come out of nowhere..
Are you over the item-limit? If so, I would atleast make sure to get back beneath it again, and see if that fixes the problem. Better to be able to play, than not at all?
And if you have stored enough items so that you have less than the proposed limit, then I'm sorry. If so, it seems you're just very unlucky...
Though freezing/crashing is an occurance that happens many times a day for me too. It doesn't render the game unplayable though, but it's really annoying. For my part, I am nowhere near the item limit, might be I would have as much trouble as you, if I were...FluidEmotion wrote:

I'm over the limit, but I haven't had any problems because of that until recently.
I'm unable to do any changes or remove any decorations because my game crashes before I get the time to do anything..
I remember last December when the snow came to Springfield. The game was unplayable for weeks!
I do understand all the Halloween stuff, the leaves and the dimmed light might have something to do with this.. But my problems did not come at the launch of the Halloween edition, but weeks later..
I guess around the time I got the ghost bomb..utrolia wrote:

Okay, then I'm really sorry to hear about your problem, and since it occured so late into the event, I agree it seems strange. Though about the time the ghost bombs got unlocked, would have been about the time the devs made their final touches on the level 36 update. So perhaps it had more to do with that. Anyway, I'm sorry I have just been unhelpful... I can only hope your problem will be resolved somehow.
By the way, I have nothing to do with EA, and am not affiliated with them in any way, but I believe they will manage to fix your problem. You just need to be patient. But I understand that your desire to play the game fades for every day you are unable to play it...- blackgryphon9999Seasoned NoviceIt seems to me that the e-mails you received from EA are "canned." They're prewritten responses that they customize just a bit. In other words, at this level, the "customer service" reps really aren't thinking about problems, but looking for keywords and pulling up the closest canned response they can find.
This is a pretty lousy way to treat paying customers. And the abysmal English is adding insult to injury. Get off the pot EA and provide some decent support! wwe8134 wrote:

No worries!
I hope I didn't come across rude or annoyed by your attempt to help..
It's EA I'm upset with, not you :)
I hope you're right and that EA will finally listen to me..!- Look i'm gonna be blunt here and you're probably not going to like it, but you are one of a handful of people who has had a * time with EA. But the fact of the matter is, there are less than 1% of people having problems with the game. You are unfortunately one of them. You yourself admitted you are over the limit in decorations. You said that you cant access your game on any device. Do you really not know what the problem is? It's something in your game that YOU caused. You sound ridiculously spoiled and entitled because since you spent money on the game (implying that you're the only one in the world who's bought donuts) that EA should be able to magically fix your game for you. That's not how computer coding/video games work. If you are knowingly over the limit that EA says, don't go over, maybe don't go over it?
I'm not defending EA here because customer service does need to be improved. However, you're acting like a child. Complaint threads about EA's customer service have been done to death. In a game that has been so buggy in the past, why even take a chance with going over limits that have been put in place. Why.
The fact that you went to a 3 month old thread that had GOOD customer service just proves my point further. You just want attention because you had a bad experience. Everyone knows now, if you want to be frustrated, contact them. I don't know what you were expecting. - I choose to ignore the troll.
