- I think 3-4 weeks is a good indicator
- I allow 2-3 weeks in case of a vacation/holiday if they are normally good tappers. (although I could be jealous they are having such a nice break!)
Level updates, events, new FP Prizes help expose who in my list are too 'part-time' or just wanting to be visited but don't visit back. - 4junk3000New SpectatorIf there's nothing to tap in a town, I'll make a mental note of that name.
If it happens again, I'll check their name on the list to see when they last logged in. If it's over 2 days, they are dropped.
I give more leniency for active forum members though.
For this event however, I've been more forgiving because sometimes the less active neighbors are the better towns for winning attacks. - I look at inactivity and lack of progress in the game. Right about now I'm starting to look at those who still have not started the clash of clones event. In a couple weeks, if they still haven't started or moved level, but show activity, I will assume they are playing a different origin game and delete them from my friend list. I usually lose a couple friends this way during a big event. For just activity, I go four to six weeks usually.
- What i find difficult to do it cut/drop someone from my friends list when they have been one of my 1st neighbours even though it would appear they are not playing anymore :( I have one that is now approaching 8weeks but would feel guilty if i cut him :(
Guess it all depends on how well you know your neighbours to whether they get cut or not, cutting after 1week of non playing seems harsh to me though as that person could be ill or on holiday! - I give about a week. If there's nothing for me to tap after that, I delete them. I add people through the finding friends threads, so I don't feel about deleting them since I don't know them in real life and there is always new people to add.
- jimmyw31Seasoned NewcomerI tend to clean out more inactives during events. It's been easy to determine who hasn't been playing by looking at the gold counts. I dropped someone today with only 500 gold that hasn't logged on in two weeks, and I dropped a second that still hasn't updated to the CoC event at all. Between events it's less noticeable, and I tend not to clear out because visits usually are down and some folks might go a few days without playing between updates/events.
- A week if I'm hunting free donuts, 4 days if there's a specific event that needs constant visiting.
- 2-3 weeks, unless they're forum friends then I will leave it a lot longer.
- During events, I will check their last login on my list if they have nothing to tap after 3 days. If they haven't logged in for a week I delete them. I have a job where I can play around on my phone so I play multiple times a day. When there is no event I wait a few weeks.
