Locked out after latest update.

The latest/final update stopped me logging in.

 

I’ve tried the usual steps:

Updating the IOS

Deleting and reinstalling

Using mobile instead of wifi

Installing on another device

Logging out and logging in again

 

None of it makes any difference.

 

As soon as I tap to enter there’s a couple of seconds of swirly donut then the game crashes.

 

EA sends me to these forums or suggests I raise a ticket in the game (the game I can’t get into). It’s bad enough my favourite mobile game for the last 10 years is stopping but not being able to finish it… so frustrating.

 

Any help, would really be appreciated.

    I had the same issue, game loads, will let me play from brand new, but everytime I click login, the game/app crashes. (Tried a whole bunch of fixes from another thread and one worked, not sure which).

    My device's pop-up says that the game has a bug and to try again after the next update.

    Same problem for me, hasn't loaded in two days.  Tried the above options and nothing worked.

  • General troubleshooting tips:

    • Update your device software
    • Check for any Tapped Out update in store
    • Log out/Log back in
    • Restart device
    • Clear cache
    • Make sure your device has more than 1.5 gbs of RAM
    • Free up memory space (some devices may require 8-12 GB free space and Apple devices may require up to 10% of the total space free) IOS lies to you. regularly clear history of spotify and safari if you use them and make sure offload apps is turned off.
    • Hard close the game and restart
    • Load on another device
    • Try a different wifi/connection/internet/broadband
    • Change the date and time save and then change back to correct reboot
    • Close all other apps before playing
    • Only use the app icon to open the game not a notification
    • Close any VPN before opening the game
    • Accept or decline any pending friend requests
    • Change your password at ea.com change your password to be less than 15 characters with only letters and numbers in it. (It can take a couple minutes to reflect it in game) Do not change your password while the game is open on a device
    • Add a real mobile phone number, use this to log in if you have issues with email login
    • If connected to EA/Origin: uninstall / reinstall game (Do NOT do this if you play anonymously)

      Thank you for trying, unfortunately I’ve tried all of that and … it’s actually got worse. Updated to IOS 18 today, cleared out my phone, so have 100+ GB free, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now it crashes when just attempting to login. *sigh.

        How did you go with this? I’m having the same issue and I’m getting so frustrated. Did you find a way to fix yours?
