4ypert3nsion​ I'm playing on the EA App and I can confirm that the custom launch options do work for the EA App as well.

Another solution may be to rollback the GPU's drivers, (to version 26.6.x or 26.7.x).

Lastly, the crash is currently affecting AMD Radeon version 26.8.1, where the problem appears to be caused by bindless rendering and DirectX shader compilation.

I am having same issue i had it on steam it wouldnt open and now i unistalled , reinstalled on EA and STILL isnt working HELP?!

IamCesar305​ Are you seeing any errors when the game crashes, and have you tried an older GPU driver yet?

HAVE I lol I have wiped drivers with DDU and done fresh installs of my AMD, NVDIA, Ethernet, WIFI, bluetooth drivers. I have rolled back to previous drivers and updated drivers as well as downloading the AMD version without adrenaline, clean wiped my pc, deleted steam and downloaded ea, tried the EAC repair tool, took my pc to be repasted and cleaned, stress tested my CPU and GPU, disabled virtualization in the BIOS, turned off windows memory integrity as well as like 20 hours of countless other tests i've done. Nothing works, all AMD logs show it freezing at the 9:59 mark everytime since that Aug 20th update. The whole PC freezes i dont get a crash log. I've tried testing using verifier.exe to see if it's EAC but EAC wont run with verifier running

• OCCT CPU stress test, 20 minutes — no freeze
• FurMark GPU stress test — no freeze, no errors
• Windows Memory Diagnostic — no RAM errors
• Verified OEM 330W charger, direct to wall; checked battery health via powercfg /batteryreport
• Checked DRAM voltage rails in HWiNFO logs — VDD/VDDQ/VPP flat within 0.03V, zero PMIC over/under-voltage flags across every session
• Disabled Radeon overlay and Instant Replay
• Disabled Xbox Game Bar and background recording
• Switched Apex to Borderless Windowed
• Set all Windows sleep and screen timeouts to Never
• Checked Task Scheduler for interval-based triggers — none found
• Closed all monitoring software (HWiNFO, AWCC) entirely before testing — froze anyway
• Deleted EAC registry entries and files, reinstalled clean via Steam Verify Integrity
• Added Windows Defender exclusion for the EasyAntiCheat directory
• Confirmed no inpoutx64.sys / RGB-class driver present on the system
• Disabled Realtek audio drivers
• Left PC idle for hours with no game running — zero freezes
• Full clean Windows reinstall (fresh OS, Steam, Apex, EAC, updated GPU drivers and BIOS) — froze at the main menu on the fresh install
• Tested via both Steam and EA App — identical behavior on both
• Professional fan cleaning and thermal repaste — HWiNFO confirmed meaningfully lower sustained temps afterward; freeze unchanged
• Updated Realtek Ethernet driver; then disabled the Ethernet adapter entirely — froze both times
• Updated Qualcomm Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers to latest Dell OEM versions — froze
• Disabled Bluetooth adapter — froze
• Disabled Memory Integrity / Core Isolation — appeared to help initially, but see #29
• Ran Driver Verifier, which produced a symbol-resolved boot crash: BugCheck 7E, STATUS_BREAKPOINT, VerifierExt!HvciCheckPoolType → NxBounceBufferPool::Initialize in netadaptercx.sys. Attempting to run Verifier during actual gameplay fails — EAC refuses to launch whenever Driver Verifier is enabled anywhere on the system, regardless of which drivers are targeted. This is why no crash dump of the real freeze exists
• Fully eliminated HVCI: Memory Integrity off, Hyper-V / Virtual Machine Platform / Windows Hypervisor Platform unchecked, bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off, virtualization disabled in UEFI. Verified with Get-CimInstance Win32_DeviceGuard → SecurityServicesRunning : {0}. Still froze at 9:12 — HVCI is not the cause
• Captured 535 seconds of network traffic in Wireshark through a freeze. Network is completely healthy to the final second: Steam ACK at T-3.2s with 42ms RTT, DNS resolving at T-12.7s, no retransmissions, no stalls, no unanswered requests. Last packet is an ordinary FIN from my machine. The network doesn't fail before the system does — it gets cut off mid-conversation. Also notable: that session had essentially no game traffic, meaning it froze at a menu with no load

Alienware m18 R1 (AMD) — Ryzen 9 7845HX, Windows 11 25H2 build 26200.9168, BIOS 1.25.0, 

I can watch movies, play assassins creed; Valhala, play destiny 2 with no issues but like clockwork 10mins into apex my whole pc freezes and I have to hard reset it and I've stressed tested the CPU and GPU alone and at the same time and nothing showed up. I had Claude look through all the reports to see if anything was off. The one time it allowed me to get past the 10mins was when I removed memory integrity (it then gave me an error saying incompatible driver and it showed EAC as the incompatible driver) which I then repaired it, uninstalled it reinstalled it and it still showed incompatible with windows core. I've been playing apex for 4yrs with no issues until Aug 20th when I updated my drivers

IamCesar305​ Yeah, that sounds like an issue with the game, so I'll get it added to the bug report.

Although in the DxDiag log, it does say you are running an AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX processor with Radeon Graphics, (which shows up as AMD Radeon(TM) 610M graphics).

The processor is a high end 2023 CPU, while the GPU is a low end 2022 GPU, so the issue may be outdated hardware or running the game at higher settings.

Yet, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, (high end GPU from 2023), also shows up, (which appears as a hybrid non-dedicated GPU, (aka its integrated/mixed in with the AMD Radeon(TM) 610M from what I can tell)), so the two questions I have now is the game set to use the Nvidia GPU instead, and is the Nvidia GPU fully updated?
