Clubs - Relegated during Playoffs while only playing League Matches
Our club finished this last season in Division 2. We were in a relegation match scenario, but we didn’t play the match before the Playoffs phase began, so we remained in Division 2 prior to the commencement of the Playoffs.
When Playoffs started, we did not play any playoff matches. Over the course of the last couple of days, we were simply playing league matches to warm up while waiting for the rest of our squad to all get online at the same time.
During Playoffs, the game clearly states that league matches do not affect promotion or relegation and only impact your club’s squad rating and overall record during the respective season.
However, and inexplicably, while playing only league matches during this current Playoffs phase, our club has been relegated multiple times.
We started in Div 2, then suddenly we were in Div 3 with 10 playoff games remaining - none played. Then after a couple more losses, we were all of a sudden in Div 4, with 8 playoff games remaining - none played. Now, we are in Div 5 with 5 playoff games remaining - none played.
We still haven’t played a single playoff match and yet we’re somehow in Div 5 but we were in Div 2 when playoffs began.
Why are we getting relegated when the game literally says that divisions cannot change during the playoffs period?
It appears this bug may occur when a team enters the playoffs phase whilst being in an active relegation scenario and this unresolved relegation status carries over and causes division drops even though the UI says divisions movement is disabled.
Please review and patch this bug. It is extremely frustrating and unfair to grind all season and then get relegated like this before playing a single playoff match.
