I’ve noticed that dust builds up on the rooftop, but my Sims can’t clean it using the vacuum. In order to get rid of it, I have to create a wall and clear the objects on the roof. This doesn’t seem like intended behavior, as dust should either not accumulate there or be cleanable without having to change the rooftop layout.

Recently I check back, and the bug still exist
This may be a bug but if you go to buy and build mode you can literally move the dust bunny to a location where is can be vaccumed! I do it a lot! The drawback in doing so is that if anyone is sleeping they will wake up everytime you go into build mode just like they do when you go in cas. Never cc or mod Win 11 pc
I don't even saw the dust bunny and dust shouldn't appear in rooftop. I try with or without CC and the bug is still there.
I have the Bust the dust kit and have noticed an issue.
Dust is collecting on the floor in inaccessible areas which sims can't reach such as up in castle towers. Places which naturally don't have any entrance to get access to cleaning the same. This makes it necessary to pause the game and remove the dust by deleting each pile in build mode.
Is it possible to make dust collect only in areas which have a door or door opening?
this happens to me all the time to the point I had to just turn off the dust effect, which means that one of the steps for the aspiration for having a clean house cannot be fulfilled! it's extremely frustrating! the dust feature also ends up impacting outside areas that the game recognizes as rooms but my sim won't go vacuum? but a robotic vacuum will go outside. it makes managing this packs main feature and draw super frustrating because i never know when things will work the way I expect
