[BH] Skillful Sleep: Projection just disappears

Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods instead of just disabling.

I followed your instructions but it happened again. The ghost appears, looks around and leaves. Sometimes the cooking skill bar appears for a moment before they leave and the relationship up symbol. 

Try the following

• Upload the Sim with the skill mastery to the gallery
• Close the game
• Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
• Repair the game
• Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
• Start a new save game
• Place the Sim from the gallery
• Check if you still have the error
•  Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

I did and it's still happening.

Going to do some testing then.

EDIT: Seems to be working fine for me. Bit hard to tell if my Sim is actually gaining skill but the projections seems to do all sorts of skilling stuff.

Could you cheat trait the trait to another Sim to see if it works for them. Please also test another lot type.

traits.equip_trait trait_MasteryPerk_SkillfulSleep

I moved a new sim to a residential lot, cheated the trait and tried again but it didn't work. I tried in the same household and a different one and on different residential lots. None of them worked.

Not sure what's going on then.

I’m seeing this as well on console [PS5]. I’ve tested it in an assortment of houses and sleep situations, but just with the one sim. Same result. Sim goes to sleep, ghost sim appears (mine has the piano skill above his head briefly), the little friendship plus points float up from my sim and his apparition, and then the ghost sim looks around, walks off, and disappears. 

(PC) I am having the same problem + the other report with only eating all the food in the fridge and showering over and over til shower breaks. It was doing the immediately disappear bug first, i made sure I had no cc (i didn't) and i tried the clear local thumb cache suggestion and then when i tried in game again i started getting the other bug and now it always does one or the other.
