It’s so exciting to be able to create unique businesses with multiple floors that offer different types of services, but so far it seems that sims will only patronize the floor that has the kiosk in it. I created a tattoo shop with a wellness center underneath it and I just love it so much. But it’s frustrating that customers avoid the floor that doesn’t have the kiosk.
At first I had it upstairs in the tattoo parlor and I got four tattoo requests the first day, but my wellness studio was a ghost town. Then I moved my kiosk downstairs for the second day and the wellness center was full of customers, but not a single person entered the tattoo parlor all day. I tried putting the kiosk outside but people just seemed confused and sort of lingered around it.
I would’ve been fine with just keeping it as two separate businesses owned by different sims, but then they can’t both be open at once, which sort of defeats the purpose. I saw online that others were struggling with this even when the different services were offered on the same floor but in different rooms, so I’m really hoping this can be addressed in a future update.
