[BH] Some rooms don't have outline/don't allow room type assignment

As soon as the fence next to my staircase met the wall, the room was no longer public and not assignable. But if I draw all but the last piece of fence, then draw 1 tile of fence in the middle of the room and pick it up and move it to where I want it, the room stays public.

(The first time this bugged, I had to entirely delete and redraw the room to get the outline back - possibly because I had left build mode then gone back in before deleting the fence? - but the second time just hitting undo brought it back. Neither time did I bother restarting.)

I have registered my business and made all areas "residential" or "Public" excepted the fenced yard.  Even when deleting the fence and making a wall, it doesn't count it as a room and doesn't give me the option.

I have tried removing the local thumb cache package, repairing the game, restarting the game, traveling to another lot and back, and going to world view and back.  I have no mods.

Having a similar issue.  In fact, the icon is not appearing for me at all on the build I am working on.  I don't know if it's because it's 64 x 64 or the fact that it had already been flagged as residential which was also a strange thing where I could not change it to generic to see if that fixed the problem.  I didn't start with a new save file, just bulldozed that lot, moved the people out and started building.  I will try again tomorrow because it's bedtime but could not just sit on this one without saying something.  EA Gods giveth, EA Gods taketh away.  That's what it feels like 😭 🤣

Same. if I redo the room with the connect the dot walls it will sometimes work again, but periodically goes away

Whenever this happens it seems to be when I am on the second/third etc floor or the basement. Ground floor is normally okay, and I can label that as public. But when it comes to labelling other floors as public or residential, there is no outline on the building, and no option to label it as anything at all. I have no mods or cc installed at all.
