Black screen and can't play households.
After the latest update, it won't allow me to leave the game i have the physically turn off my laptop in able to leave the sims. Also my household has 3 sims but i go to play it and it only shows 1 and they are in grey and can't come home so i can't control them. However the job section shows the sim i can't see in my household. When i try to leave i can just see a black screen, not frozen as i can still move my mouse around and press stuff. Lastly in game option i can't see any buttons so i am unable to turn off my mods. I already had script mods turned off but i can't do anything else to change my settings.

Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
