In build mode, my walls are disapearing. Im not in walls down, or cutaway view. as you see in the video, i drew a wall, and its not there. also, when i highlight or click a room, the game thinks the wall is there so the wall is highlighted, but its not "visually" there. is this a bug with the new patch?
*i do have mods and cc, but i dont think the problem is related to my mods or cc. it was working fine yesterday.
I had this happen to me before I had to bulldoze the entire lot. Exit my game then went and removed the localthumbcache.package. After deleting that file I then repaired the game. This was the only thing I could do to fix this issue in my game. Just make sure to remove all furniture and etc and personal pictures and items for your sims before you bulldoze the lot. Hope this helps as it helped me.
you know what is the main cause of this issue so i can prevent that from happening when i rebuild it again. was this a new glitch from a new patch or was it a glitch that existed ages ago.
Please test your issue on a vanilla game
To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.
Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.
