Business Panel Doesn't Show Owned Businesses

I am playing lilsimsie's Very Veggie legacy. My Broccoli sim got her 5 star business and then passed it on to her son's wife. The wife hired my Broccoli sim as a ghost (elder, died of old age). This worked out fine for a couple of shifts and then for no reason both the sim and the business have disappeared from my game. Ellie (broccoli sim) shows in the geneology panel for her son and as the creator of paintings she made but she is not in the relationship panel for any of my sims. The business is not in the business panel and I cannot buy a new business to replace it. When I travel to the business it shows I still own it and my living employees show up for work and perform their previously assigned job tasks. However I cannot close the business, I cannot transfer the business, I cannot sell the business, I cannot make any changes to its current settings at all. I got no warning that my ghost sim was fading or anything like that. She was in her own household. Console Player.
