Business Panel Doesn't Show Owned Businesses

This started this week …. Owned small business, restaurants and retails are not showing up under the sims panel leaving me no way to manage it. I bought a small business venue and returned to my lot and it went away I had to buy it again everytime I wanted to access it. 

my small business owner sims lose all posibilities to interact with their small business after a while, and the actions become completely useless. The small business panel shows "purchase small business" -- an option that doesn't work either -- even though the sims do own one already and are still deemed as owners on their profile. This makes the small business totally unusable, even after travelling on the lot -- it will be possible to open it, but impossible to close it or manage anything about it in the meantime. 

I've seen another person have the same problem which apparently went away after playing with other households, but the bug only propagated to my other small business owner sims after I tried that (specifically after trying to assign an uniform to the employees.... everything about the small business panel just vanished.) 

I have tried running the game with no mods, removed them from the Sims 4 folder, repaired the game.... But absolutely nothing has worked so far, and the bug remained even playing with the game completely bare. 

Hi, I‘ve experienced the same bug on console (xbox s) as well yesterday. After browsing the forum, I‘ve tested several older saves. Some didn’t have the issue and I tried playing and after a while, the bug came back. Now I‘ve tried the mentioned work-around. During the game, I switched into build and buy-mode on the small business lot and back into life mode and it worked again. So far so good. But not a complete solution.

I must now add: the peoblem persists and I recieved an error code and the game crashed. when I wanted to travel to my still open business.

Hello, this is happening on my end as well. What I remember Ive done, is that I placed a custom lot to the world from the gallery. The lot type was Residential and I changed it to Restaurant where I got this notification that says something like "changin the lot type will affect all your owned businesses". I proceeded anyway and after that, I played my sim and asked a few of her friends to the lot. The friends made it to the lot but then disappeared, which I found strange. I tried inviting them all to the lot but none of them came. When I went back home, I decided to visit one of my residential housing tenant because they violated contract rules. I clicked the button to visit via the Owned Businesses Panel. My sim made it to her owned residential lot then all of a sudden, all my owned businesses disappeared from the Owned Businesses Panel. I owned 2 small businesses and 1 retail store on top of 1 residential lot. 

I tried everything. Selling the businesses from the world view, evicting my household from the house, Repairing Sims 4 from EA App > Manage button. Nothing works.

There are times that when I try to Travel, and while the screen loads, the businesses will appear. I'll click X and I'll somehow be able to navigate. I even managed to open the small business. But everytime I exit the game to Manage World and come back, it will be gone again. At one point the button to register small business worked, but the selections are not working and the labels looked funny.

Please help. I spent so much time on building my sims, it would be a tragedy to start all over again.

Is there a way I can go back to the file saves from the other day? I don't mind losing 1 day saves.

I play on Mac and have no mods or CC. I also have all packs and kits to date. Since the latest update I can’t access any of the business panels. For small businesses, my sims can operate their small business but when I go the owned businesses panel, it says “you do not have any small businesses right now!” When I click on the “register small business” button, nothing happens. 

The same goes for restaurants. My sims bought a restaurant but can’t see the relevant panel at all, so she can’t hire employees or open the restaurant.

I’ve tried repairing the game and ensuring it’s up to date, but it doesn’t seem to help. This is the same across all households and saves. Is anyone else having this issue?

I also have this issue, affecting all retail stores, vet clinics and restaurants owned by playable sims in the world. In world map view the businesses still show the owners, but in live mode the owned business panel says "You do not own any Retails/Vet Clinics/Restaurants right now!".

If I visit the business lot with the sim that owns it, a bunch of random NPC sims arrive to run the business (even though I had no employees). I can interact with the employees and customers as if I own the business (e.g. for retail: greet, suggest options, answer questions etc.), but do not have access to the business funds, perks, management options etc. 

I play on PC with no mods.

I can open and close using the kiosk but in my sim’s tab, it’s showing “register small business” as if she doesn’t own anything. However, costumers are coming in like normal and when I find my employees I have the option to fire them. Without it showing in the tab, I can’t see perks or manage employee tasks.

Everything is up to date and I deleted localsimcashe too. Haven’t had any probs until updating. I attached a picture showing the empty tab, my sim opening her business and even showing her as the owner

yes today all of a sudden none of my business owning sims appear to have control over them. restuarants, rental properties, vet clinics, small businesses, or retail stores.
