I'm currently playing with a single-sim household who was in the middle of a university term and living in university housing with many roommates when the latest update was installed (on console). I noticed that the cafeteria worker finally returned (!) to the cafeteria stand placed inside the university housing lot, but it seemed to have a different menu and options than before (with more options and different menu "types" instead of the rotating small university menu). However, after tending the counter for a short time, the worker never left the lot and also never returned to the cafeteria stand. Instead, he was socializing and even napping on the sofa for several sim days. At some point, a second vendor showed up but also didn't tend the cafeteria stand (there's also a food stall out in the world so maybe they were generated for that one). It's really bizarre behavior and possibly connected to the empty community lots issue...
